Ok, I can't think of a single other band like this......mention them to people, and they can instantly name 4 or 5 songs from them that they LOVE....yet ask them about bands they really like, and no one mentions them. This always baffles me.
 
I agree, I really enjoyed them when they were popular, but their later albums were a letdown...good solid rock, but nothing really memorable or unique IMHO.
 
I really like the Sunburn album. The album after that was 'meh' and the album after that just sucked.
 
Fuel is a good band for sure (Shimmer is one of my favorite songs), but they don't have enough depth or originality to be one of those bands people love as their favorite band...most of their songs sound the same.
 
true, could be why....Sunburn was an amazing CD I always thought....and shimmer...I mean everyone my age (about 24) knows the words....I guess their later stuff just wasn't original enough
 
Might also me the fact that their radio songs sound nothing like thier non-radio songs. I worked at an outdoor music theater and I thought their other stuff was just horrible. I didnt even know it was them until they started playing their hits.
