Unannounced PC title as an exclusive

According to our sources AMD is working on yet another Never Settle bundle that might be even more impressive than what we had a chance to see with the first Never Settle bundle, launched in October last year, and the Never Settle Reloaded that showed up with Radeon HD 7900/7800 series graphics cards in February this year.

AMD had some ups and downs with its Never Settle bundle and most downers were the fault of retailers rather than AMD. In general it seems to have improved the sales of GPUs, made AMD partners quite happy and certainly stepped on Nvidia's toes.

Our sources are now talking about a new Never Settle bundle that should, at least according to current information, include Ubisoft's upcoming Watch Dogs title as well as Battlefield 4, which was pretty obvious due to yesterday's announcements the fact that Battlefield 4 was demoed on the new Malta Radeon HD 7990 graphics card. Both titles are scheduled to appear in Fall this year and we are still far away from them.

The third game is quite a mystery and should be an exclusive. According to what we know so far, it is some title that is unannounced for the PC, so it could be anyone guess. AMD might have scored a big win but wants to keep it well hidden as it could be a real deal breaker.

We'll certainly know more as we draw closer to the launch of AMD's new HD 7990 card and the release date for those two games. We'll also take some creative liberty here and go on a wild-guess spree saying that AMD might have scored the recently rumored Half-Life 3 title which will certainly make Nvidia an unhappy camper. (That is shot in the dark, but it's possible. sub.ed)

I mean "exclusive" in console world means something totally different, right? Or is the author proposing that HL3 (as an example) will only run on AMD hardware? That sounds outrageous.

errr... this "never settle bundle", means that if you buy a new card, you receive a one or two game with it ^_^

It's possible. Halo 3 was indeed referenced in a recent AMD driver update.

Good for AMD. I probably won't be getting a new video card anytime soon, but I'll happily snatch up one of the game coupons on ebay for cheap.

Actually it WAS nVidia's game as they had some great bundles before, but lately it has definitely been AMD's game.

The bundle strategy has already convinced me to buy one AMD card over the competition, and I'll be looking at the high-end for my main rig this fall. If I can get similar performance and some free games that I was looking to buy, I consider the card to be on offer at a steep discount. I like discounts.

Nvidia's omission as of late is rather odd. In prior days it was nvidia with the great bundles (eg assassin's creed 3, Batman: AC, etc) while they've had a rather bad bundle lately (the F2P stuff).

I would love for nvidia to bring the heat in this respect - that would be great for all consumers. We'll see I guess.

As far as the topic, I wonder if it's BF4 for this winter? That'll be HUGE if so.

What a good card the 9600XT was.
First card I was able to run 2x AA with...man the IQ on that was sweet.

AMD's bundles were a great strategic move. The fact that they bundled multi AAA + some unreleased games that is.

I was very skeptical about upgrading from 570 SLI, but the price drop of the 7950s along with the awesome reloaded bundle, win me over.

Not to mention that my etailer got confused and sent me two times the Reloaded bundle. It's like I got the cards for peanuts and I gifted some codes to friends.

There is nothing odd with it. AMD payed for it. That's the reason why they delayed their new generation.

That is pure speculation though. HL3 hasn't even been announced yet, let alone said to be included in a video card bundle.
