Heh, Fuad is as slippery as Charlie... both relish "half truths."

NVIDIA Authorized Board Partners for North America

In alphabetical order:

Asus
BFG
EVGA
MSI
Palit
PNY
XFX

Notes:

This is "authorized" meaning you'll probably still see other brands here and there.

This is "North America" meaning you'll see other brands elsewhere.

This isn't "cutting partners" because AFAIK none were cut. This is just making things more "official" and trying to protect the authorized partners and consumers. Now, before anyone gets bent out of shape or gets the wrong ideas, IMO this is actually a good idea because it protects against companies dumping excess stock for cheap (bad for other partners) without being "on the hook" for support/warranty (bad for consumers).

The "authorized" partners need to offer a full lineup of NVIDIA products and meet a minimum product AND support quality level in North America.

You forgot to mention how both are quick to gloat when they've got a scoop and during those few times they get the story right, but how neither ever admits when they're completely off base ;).
