Is there a way to increase upload speed to FTPs? I can download fast, about 75K/sec, but when I upload, it goes from 0K to 15K

Your upload is probably capped at 128k. That's about what I get when I upload...10/12 k per second...I have 512/128 cable connection.

300 Kilobits or Kilobytes? I think AIM means 300kb which is around 30KB a sec.... I higly doubt you can upload at 300KB with a regular cable modem.

Oh i'm using a university connection. I think it's 300KB. I get 700 Meg files in about half an hour to an hour

Then that's not a cable modem, it's probably a T1 or T3 connection. Some colleges cap people's upload speeds though so they won't run servers and sh*t. That's probably it then. Downloading they don't cap, so it'll be like 500KB a sec but uploading they probably do.

Here's an idea. Go to dslreports.com and run a speed test to see what kind of upload you can get.
