FTP server question

Quote from somewhere on the Net: An FTP Server is a software application run on a computer host, using the File Transfer Protocol. An FTP Server may be used to host computer files. Web browsers interact with FTP Servers and may be used to retrieve computer files (ie. downloading).

all right thanks, also can you make a FTP server like private? So you just list a few ip addresses and then only people with the Ip addresses you've listed can access the server?

Yeah you can, but if you have a dynamic IP it is not very practical.

You can set User with individual accounts and Password; it is part of the FTP server program.
