Has anyone used this ftp server proggie? I'm currently using it, but when I have the system tray enabled it eats 87-97 of my CPU.

I was using ServU, but all of a sudden it said FTP online, but I couldn't get the domain to go online. When clicking on Domain Online it wouldn't do anything. I had even uninstalled (even removed from registry too) and reinstalled. Was really weird......

I didn't realize SmartFTP was a ftp SERVER program. I thought that was just a client.

Also need one that supports SSL as well, and running on WinXP.

I've been running Filezilla for the last year or so and I like it. It's not as refined as some of the other ftp server software I've used, but the price is right.

thanks, ive been looking for a good free alternative to servU forever.

Does filezilla and/or quick and easy support SSL? I did like bulletproof when I used that years ago, however that does not support SSL. GuildFTPd was also very nice, but again didn't suuport SSL. I might have to go and try Cerberus....

thanks I'll try that I guess. I'll give Cerberus a go as well and see which I like better.
