trying to get warftp to work. I created a user/password. What do I type in the browser to access the stuff I have made avavilable?
I thought it was ftp://dusername😛assword@ftp.xxx.x.x.x/. But it says "Windows cannot aces this folder. Make sure you type the file name correctly and that you have permission to access the folder. Details: the server name or address could not be resolved."

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help. That worked but now I have some follow up questions.
WHen I connect, I get folders A, C, D, and E. I assume that refers to my drive letters on my pc. A = floppy, c = hd, d = hd, and e = cdrom. I only have one user set up and that user is only supopose to be able to access one folder called downloads (it's on the c drive). Why does it show all the contents of the rest(my c drive more specifically)?
And when I access the Downloads folder it won't let me copy/paste anything from there to my desktop. "An error occured while copying this file"
WHy is that?

I know this doesn't specifically help you, but I dropped WarFTP in favor of Serv-U a while ago. If you can't get war working, try ServU out.

ServU and G6 are both great programs if you want to look into them. I tried WarFTP out once and dropped it because of the confusing interface. ServU was the easiest to use, G6 is a lot more powerful, but there are some weird quirks in the program.
