ftp question

i'm starting up an ftp server with a friend of mine. we want to use both our pcs to host files. currently using ws_ftp server. Is there a way for us to map a virtual folder on one of our servers that points to the root folder on the other one, without enabling windows file sharing?

I hope i'm being clear enough, ask if you need clarification.

more what i'm trying to do is map a drive on one server to an ftp site hosted from another server. I can do it if i enable windows file sharing and map the drive on the second pc as a network drive on the server, but thats pretty insecure. I'm thinking maybe there is a way to do it by running an ftp server on the second pc as well as the main server but i havn't found anything yet.

on second thought webdrive might work if i run an ftp server on the second pc and point the webdrive to that ftp, then make the webdrive a virtual folder on the primary ftp server. seems a bit clumsy though.
