I was trying to download a version of linux. I went to redhat and mandrake but I keep getting this message from the ftp links
<< an error occured reading the contents of the folder, Make sure the filename is valid and you have permission to access the location specified >>
I am on win2k and dsl. using a dlink router I enabled passthrough of port 21 to the manual ip of my computer. I tried using an ftp client but wasnt sure on the addy: ftp://ftp.orst.edu/pub/mandrake/iso/ was wondering how much of this is needed in the ftp location window
I tried ftp.orst.edu/pub/mandrake/iso/ and the first one.
Any help would be appreciated I would like to check out Fluffy Linux. I have some experience with command line only. obscure server distro.
