- For my wife's birthday, she only received half of what I ordered and she got it 2 days late.

Customer service won't budge but I'm not even asking for full refund. All I want is call it even and just pay for what she got: half of the order. I'm not even factoring how she got it 2 days late.

Am I being unreasonable here? I don't think I am.

Call your CC company and dispute the charge. You ordered something and FTD didnt hold up their end of the bargain, put the burden of proof on them, not yourself.

That's my next step, because I don't think I'm the one being unreasonable just for paying exactly for what she got.

Thanks for pointing that out.

The thing about it is that I've been using them for the past 4 years without any problems.

One incident like this and they don't even budge when I know they can easily absorb the cost for one mishap.

If you are FTD.com, would you absorb the small cost for one mishap with a 4-year customer

or

save the pennies and lose one insignificant customer to Hallmark.com, Roses.com or other online gift delivery companies?

that's the problem, when greed kicks in your satisfaction does not matter. they dont wanna tkae any lost even if it's a minor loss, they rather lose you because their are more suckers who would buy from them in the future? oh well maybe they will budge if you annoy them enough thought

They finally credited me only 25% as their policy allows even when my recipient receiving half of the order.

Time to get the other 25% through credit card dispute services.

Did I mention it was also 2 days late?

You should disput ethe entire charge with the CC company, but just 25%. You had an agreement for certain merchandise being delivered on a certain date. They failed to do that so you aren't liable for any of it.

I had HUGE problems with FTD.com for a Mother's day order ! I found their CS to be uncaring to the point of downright rudeness. They couldn't understand why I'd be less than thrilled with a mother's day order delivered on tuesday after mother's day, Don't get me started on this subject, just thinking about it pissing me off all over again!

I'm just going by "call it even" principle and not even considering how it was late.

My recipient received half of the order so I just want to be charged half of the price, plain and simple.

I just don't see how they could only offer 25% when I'm not even demanding the entire 100% of the purchase.

So long FTD.com. I guess after 4 years of account membership it's good to go for a change.

Thanks to all for other company recommendations.

i've used ftd.com at least half a dozen times over the last few years, never had a problem. maybe you just got unlucky and got a bad florist in your area.

I used FTD.com about a year ago to a delivery in Charleston SC (I live near NYC). Never will again. They were a day later then I was told and I paid alot for my arrangement (over $100) and they ended giving some PoS arrangement full of crap carnations and daisy's. Nothing against carnations and daisies but I didnt pay over $100 for $3 flowers.
