I don't see this listed on the first post but the [.LI ] tag doesn't seem to be working in firefox. Is fusetalk's implementation of [.LI] not wc3 compliant? (it works in IE)

Found a bug:

Create a new thread, then add a poll. Make the poll question be something with quotes, like.

Do you believe that "people are weird?"

Click add question, and then try to update the question. The only thing that will appear in the box above is everything before the first quote...

Do you believe that

Just a bug report for ya...

Searching inside a topic isn't working still. I tried searching the employment thread in Off Topic using Firefox 0.11

An annoying bug in the private messages list:

Clicking "view" opens the message but also changes the state of the message to unread (with no regard to its previous read/unread state). Subsequent views do not change the message to read, it can only be switched by clicking the "unread" link.

He went AWOL, as far as anyone can tell.

Theories:

1) He got sick of it
2) He was told by a higher power to stop

I hear he may still occasionally respond to emails...

Hey guys ... my family got sick, then I got sick -- I was in the hospital for pneumonia and it took a long time for me to recover.

I'm gonna put together a list of recent issues for fusetalk to handle as soon as I can ...

:Q

Good to see you're better now!

Here's another oddity: I made post in which I used markup. When I want to edit the post it opens with every "blah" replaced by "<blah". You leave the "<" there and edit the post again, there will be a second "<" added ("<<blah"). Why is this happening?

When viewing Private Messages from a particular person the first message gets truncated. Clicking on someone's name in the PM view should bring up all of the prior PM's between us, it doesn't.

This is what it says in "Help" to subscribe to a catagory:

Subscribing to a Category

In the user?s profile, under the Personal Options tab, the user can specify which of the listed categories he/she wishes to subscribe by pressing down on the CTRL key and clicking on the desired categories. To cancel a subscription, return to the Profile and unclick the category.

When I go to my Personal Options all that I find is how to
"Block" catagories... 😕

Whats up with that...?

34) using mouse wheel, page up/down, spacebar in IE 7 doesn't always work (need to click on the page background, not sidebar or message body).

Seems to be fixed with Internet Explorer 8 beta, in both IE8 and IE7 emulation modes.

I don't suppose there's anything new on the missing-1st-PM issue?

.....or are we just waiting for Fusetalk 4.0 as the "fix?"

What about ordering search results by date? We used to be able to do that, what happened?

EDIT: Honestly, how difficult can it be to add a feature that sorts entries by date?

Until that gets fixed (if ever), here's a workaround:

http://forums.anandtech.com/se...VAR_RESULTTYPE=threads

Look at the FTVAR_AUTHORFRM=Steve and replace Steve with your screen name - I just tried it in IE6 and it automatically inserted the %20 for the space in your name.

Keep this link as a bookmark/favorite, best way to stay on top of your posts IMO.

23) "Ooops! You encountered an error, we have let the webmaster know about the problem." happens a lot and shouldn't.
***FIXED -- Partial, happens less frequently now.
This seems to be happening more frequently again.
