Thanks for the link.

I sure do hope that ATI cards don't keep going up in terms of power consumption. I was willing to forgive the power consumption issues for now where they are just below unacceptable. However, a lot more consumption and I'll definitely go for the card with lower power consumption.

Spending $150 on a dedicated and efficent power supply should be minor if someone can afford to purchase a $400+, $500+ graphics card. Even if someone went Crossfire/ or SLI for $800. A $175 Enermax Liberty or Enhance ENS-0560G is easily attainable for under $200. Not to mention, the power supply out lives the life span of the graphics card itself.

Yes that is true, but I'm more worried about the heat that is put out. More power consumption usually means more heat. That's why I went watercooled....I didn't like the heat.

Thermaltake has one of these as well. I haven't been able to find it for sale anywhere or seen any reviews on it.
