But the Boston DeadSox are just that ... Chumps!

Just like their fans!

We still have the Patriots :) Who do you have? The Jets? lol

Hehe I'm not anywhere near New York so the heck cares?!

I have my Panthers to cheer on to the Super Bowl this year!

By the way the Old England ExPatriots look really pathetic this year!

They just beat Atlanta and are tied for first in their division. Four of their top defensive players are out with injuries, not to mention a BRUTAL schedule. The fact that they are 3-2 after all this just shows what type of team the Patriots are.

It just means that they will likely not finish atop!

Another Boston team sucking the big one it seems!

Me wishes for more!

Just like when the Patriots defeated your Panthers a couple years ago right?

You could say that about any team. I could tell you about the time the Bills beat the Pats, or the Dolphins beat the Jets a few years ago but it has no bearing on how the team is now. Granted, the Pats are a great team and I'm not denying that.

Cano was called out for choosing to avoid a potential collision, which should be a base runners prerogative.

the rules are clear. YOu CANNOT run inside the basepaths down to first. there is a large CLEARLY marked running lane. Cano chose not to run in it. Hes out. Its simple.

Syringe: $3
The "Clear" anabolic steroid: $2200
Watching most overpaid, admitted roid using, biggest chokers in sports choke again:
Priceless.

There are plenty of rules which are not strictly followed under certain circumstances. The most relevant to this conversation would be 2nd or SS leaving 2nd base early to complete the double-play.

In addition, a runner who is between two bases is required to avoid someone fielding their position, even it means running outside the base-line. Now, in this case, Cano would have been right had he choose to collide with the 1st baseman in order to knock the ball loose. I'm just saying that he should not be penalized for avoiding a collision, although I do agree that it is ultimately the umpire?s decision.

You do realize that umps do still call it when a 2ndBM or SS doesn't tag 2nd on the doubleplay? If it's not incredibly obvious, then they may still get away with it, it's not a big deal. Cano and ARod last year should have both collided with the 1st BM if he's in their way.

If Cano was in the running box, then he would have been out easily. The throw was to the inside of the bag and he was running on the infield side of the basepath which is not allowed.

Seems we were watching two different games. Didn't seem like he did anything wrong to me. The umps made a sketchy call imo.
