FSB on an A64

I have been OCing my 3000+ and was wondering does using a higher HTT add performance like it did on the Athlon XP's or is 267x9 or 2403 mhz running the memory async the same as 240x10 and running the memory syncronous performance wise.
 
AFAIK nope. In fact, it's recommended that you keep your HTT at 1GHz or below if you're experiencing stability problems.
 
From my memory, most boards do not recommend you run HTT over 1gh. Even NForce3 only supports up to 1 Gh. If you run it higher (ex. 220x5 htt), your system will be unstable, or won't even boot up correctly.
 
My systems running at 10 x 230 and my HTT is at x5 , ive not had any problems ?

Will it do any damage , should i put it to x4 ?
 
Me the same, 262 x 5 ftt. ran prime for 12 hours, stable. I read somewhere that for the Asus A8V Mobo, lower ftt is actually less stable.
