FSAA messes up Java?

Thanks, let me know how it works out. Is this a rare problem? I mean I would imagine most people use FSAA these days, but I couldn't find much info on this happening.

It's only if you force D3D FSAA at the driver level, since Java is putting hooks into DirectX now. 😛

So is this something that affects everybody if they force FSAA? I have to because I play a lot of older games that don't have in-game FSAA. I hate having to change it every time though. Seems to me like it's a pretty big bug...

Try the new Forceware 71.xx series - there's application-specific settings in there. You could try creating a profile for the Java EXE and forcing AA to off. Alternatively, you'd have to make profiles for each game. Which wouldn't be all that bad - you can tune the settings individually.

Hurray for this thread. I always wondered why my screen got blurry. I guess I'll just set up custom game profiles from now on instead of forcing AA.
