If its who I think it is, you need to post in the FS/T forums about this. I am afraid its the guy who keeps doing this to people and thinks its okay just because he has been here awhile.

Unfortunately some people assume that's ok which it isn't. It doesn't matter if you're a junior member n00b or an established lifer with 20,000 posts, FS/FT rules are rules. No one is exempt from them.

You paid him 12 days ago, almost 2 weeks.

If he's busy and hasn't shipped it yet, I just hope he's honest and says so.

Yes I agree. It's tough to trust people sometimes, but I hope this guy is honest.

I paid for an iMac on Wed, Sept. 28 via paypal for the amount of $750 to a very well respected member of this board. He made no contact with me again until the 5th, even after one PM requesting a DC number and one Email requesting the same. He said he was out of town and everything had been shipped.

He said it was mailed and I asked for the DC number, didn't get anything.

On the 6th I asked for the DC number again, no response.

On the 7th I asked for the DC number again, twice, no response.

I'm quite concerned as can be expected when trusting someone with $750.

Thoughts? Dozens of people have vouched for him, but I don't see any action on his part that has led me to believe it was shipped. Do I keep begging for a DC number?

If it doesn't happen within the week, I would post names so that he on the DNT list of people

I'm sure he is but I think the hallmark of any good trader is constant and honest communication which seems to be lacking here. We don't know both sides of the story though.

Do you know this person RossMAN ?

I hope your iMac comes through to you. 14 days is more than enough for a personal check to clear. Being busy is one thing, but the least you can do is be a responsible individual and keep the buyer updated even if it's just a few words.

I think its this guys way of doing things now. Apparently he is above the rules and regulations of the FS/T forums. There have been a few people lately complaining about his total disregard for their money and items, not to mention the way he ignores them. He also seems to reply with..."Sorry, I have no excuse, it wont happen again. I agree I was unprofessional, blah, blah, blah"...so much for that:roll:

...and yes, I know who it is, it doesnt take a trained detective to put it together with the search feature.

Do I know who the trader is? Yes.

Do I know them personally? No.

Well the issue is partially solved.

DA refunded me the money and I am waiting for his e-check to clear. he did not have a tracking number for the package and thinks that he either left the package at the UPS counter or perhaps put the wrong address/zip code on it.

Does heatware have any sort of system for abusers of feedback?

IE: Say iamwiz leaves a nuetral or negative feedback, and the seller leaves a negative just to be mean, is there a way for iamwiz to clean off the negative?

Cuz I know that I've had one issue where i should have left a nuetral but only had like 10 trades at the time and didn't want my record tarnished.

Another question, anyone know of a way to change an account name in heatware? 60-70 evals is a lot to lose since I changed my AT user name a few years back.
