I miss Fry's out here in the East (ex-San Jose guy) -- do you know if they honor their advertised prices via the Outpost.com site??
 
They will not honor the sales unless you are actually in the metro area where the sale flyer is published.

Not independant but they do have a disclaimer in the ads that states the sale prices may not be available at Outpost. The only time I have had them even question it is just in the context of confirming that I was in the metro area of the ad that was published. If your Fry's ad in SD has the same special then you will most likely be OK.
 
Wow.. i really didnt know that our ads were soo different. Nor Cal has a couple more things in there ad..

Dang, talks about being selective. I always thought the OC and LA ads would be the same, but guess not..
 
does anyone know if amex blue PM's to OEM drives? i want to grab that 80GB western digital. i figured it would be around $50 AR and PM. gotta go look at the old threads to see if they do. i think that would be a hot deal if they do.

I hope they get outpost aligned more closely with their B & M stores, they have some great deals and if they pull it off I think they'd pick up a lot of customers. I'd buy the duron/K7S5A if I had a fry's nearby.
