Trend,
We can only hope they get one here in Atlanta one day!

I feel like a red headed step child on Sunday afternoon when I hear about those fine deals Fry's has.

I would gladly give my CompUSA dollars to a competitor!

Guys if you have ever been to fry's i can tell you that its worse than compusa. If you've ever had to return anything it takes an hour of going to 12 different counters with 50 CSRs who are retards. And also half the hardware is actually returned stuff that they tested and reshrinkwrapped and put little stickers on that say "original warranty intact if this is and may be a returned item" or something like that. Too bad they put those stickers on all the new ones too so you dont know if its used or not. And parking, oh my god, if you've ever gone to the manhattan beach one it could take you forever. That and the deals aren't that great. Overall compusa has better deals

Does Fry's have a website? I wasn't aware there were any here in TX. I actually have a store that I go to here in town. The owner is like 26. They match prices anywhere in the world. Even online prices as long as both companies have it in stock. Pretty cool.

dude i was at the fry's grand opening, many of you guys were still in diapers, hehe. That place rocked, cause they had 1/2 the store were groceries, and the other 1/2 cool computer schtuff.

I dunno why they stopped that, i'd be all about going to pick up some groceries for the lady, (and some new hardware!) when she asked.
he

we need a fry's in ATL thats fer sure. Only places to get good deals, chumpusa, and best buys every once in a blue moon.

Make that three satisfied Ginstar customers. I actually live in Norcross and they are my fav for parts. It is nice to know there are a few Atlanta people out that linger around here.. :)

ginstar is cool but there hours and days are kinda whack.

they actually have white people (duck) that speak english and know about overclocking and other stuff. Please dont take my comment as racist, but you know what i mean.

half-price pc is okay and similar to ginstar, not as good of selection, BUT they are open at 9am. unlike 10am for the rest of the people, and not closed on monday and tuesday like GINSTAR (whack!?).

Always remember to pay cash and (ASK AND)get the 2% cash (after tax) discount at ginstar, btw.

I used to live in Dallas, then I moved to Georgia. All Fry's is good for is for pricematches. Their CS sucks and returns are terrible.

yeah
frys has the most god awful pos customer service
i had to get $50.00 back on some speakers i had purchased
i was forced to stand in the line for returns for over 45 minutes
then when i get there, i show the new price and tell them to give me the difference
what they do is give you a "receipt" and you have to stand in another line at the registers to get your money. which happend to take another 40 minutes
and when you go back to the computer hardware section, they have like only 1 guy working there. Saddest store ever, i have no idea how they stay in business. Their prices aren't all that hot, especially with the internet and all
well theres my frys rant
hehe

PS they usually hire idiots too. The other day i was asking what seek time a hdd had and the guy kept telling me "Sir, its ultra 66! that means its fast!"
