FRY's return policy on used computer hardware....does anyone know?

as the title states...pls help. i dont want to make a 2 hour trip only to find out i can't return something. i dont have a phone right now...im at school so i can't call. help?

do they charge a restocking fee?
what happens when the item i buy is defective?

The left you return items if you are unhappy within 15 days. just prepare to wait in line. most of the time you can get store credit for your returned items. I down it a few times myself. I even priced mach a MB i bought a week later because it went on sale.

they usually let you return anything within 30 days unless it's memory or cpu's i believe...

30 days for most things

15 days for laptop, cpu, memory, cdrw drives... and a couple other things... i don't quite remember them all even though i used to work there

do i have to get store credit or can i get a cash refund? i need to return a sound card and motherboard. how bout if the item is defective? does that affect the return process in any way?
