did a search and nothing came up. should be a fresh deal as the paper only came out today. Frys from san jose, CA has:

Maxtor 120GB Ultra DMA/133 Hard drive
-retail boxed drive
-7200rpm

for sale for 118.99 - 40MIR=$78.99

pretty cheap for a fast 120GB maxtor if you ask me. could derive some PM from this as well....

pn another note, 512MB PC3200 is $69-25 MIR=$45 AR.

cheap as well.

should be good for PM. unless they say itsa different version (2mb and 8mb)

i suspect it would be difficult to pricematch to the $80 price too, only to the before rebate price. worth a shot anyhow.

The drive at Fry's is a 2MB buffer. The one being offered at staples is an 8MB Buffer.

It seems like Fry's listed the 2MB buffer drive on their website:

well I was just talking to them last night about PM'ing a NEC display to NewEgg ($662 at newegg and $849 w/$100 rebate) and after 20 minutes they finaly said they would PM but at the pre rebate price
