I would have personally preferred an ASUS P35 MB, but the Gigabyte has a good reputation, too. There seemed to be plenty at the SE Houston (Webster) Fry's.

I got one to try out the 8400. I am not sure if I am going to keep the DS3 since its droop is somewhat sizeable. Nice combo price given everyones markup is rather high on that chip.

Nice combo, this ds3l board is very quiet cpu and system fan run under 1000 rpm. I would pick over any other board, I'm running this board with E8400, absolutely 100% satisfy, 0 complain at all.
