Maxtor 250GB 7200 rpm for $119... $10 cheaper than the deal a couple of weeks back, but I still have 30GB free. So I'll wait for the next deal. Hopefully the next gen of HD is coming out soon, Maxline III and DiamondMax 10.

Also catches my eye is Final Fantasy X-2 for $19.99 and Soul Calibur II for $12.99. Does anyone know if Best Buy still have that Gamers Card with the $5 off $19.99 coupon? If so I'll try to go down to Best Buy to price match.

thanx for the spot OP. looks good

DFW area fry's have 120GB Seagate for $87 - $40 = $47. Pretty much the same price as any other drives but with 5yr warranty.

Hot deal IMHO.

Seagate 120gb HDD after taxes and rebate for my area comes to $.44/GB in my area. Plus a 5 yr warranty makes this very hot to me IMO. I like the new pricing on the Seagates, I remember when you couldn't get this brand for under $.50/GB without all the PM and coupons.

is this nationwide? really interested in the sonata right now🙂

Looks to be, Downers Grove (IL) has them. Grabbed a bunch today, I was paying 120 fro them from newegg, may go back a grab some more...

Also, Philips mp3 player w/ 128MB for $59.99 w/ no rebate (Originally $99).
This unit is a relatively new product and does include an FM tuner with 10 presets and is expandable with SD cards. While we're on the subject, 256MB SD card from Panasonic is on sale at Fry's for $25 AR ($25 Rebate).

Good luck, i've tried to PM best buy, to Fry's, but, on Best Buy's Price matching policy, they state that it's only good for other stores of the same nature, and not at Warehouse's , like Fry's.
But, try, and let me know how it goes.

mother! i just bought the antec case and 350w psu from newegg for 66 a few days ago. Anyone know how this case and PSU compare to the one posted on ATHD a few days ago?

I've recommended a similar F257a model monitor from MicroCenter to 3 buyers this year. A very clear hi-rez image with a faster than normal 16ms response time (most flat panels in the mid $300 range are 25ms) which should be well suited to gamers. Note that MicroCenter's current pricing for the F257 is about $489 b4 any rebates.

At the Fry's price offering, more than likely it is already 000's 🙁

There's also a GREAT deal on PNY 256mb CF cards for AR price of $14.99. The mir is $20, so the OTD pricing is $34.99 plus tax.

I've been following prices on 256mb CF cards and the lowest I've come across was about $20 AR. Fry's has had LexarMedia, Kingston, and PQI for $20 to $24 AR in the past month too, but always seem to be 000's when I call to check stock before driving.

This time I checked vendors who sell PNY and took the shorter drive to OD to PM the ad. No problem! OD PM'd same price and they have a similar $20 mir, so the AR price is the same as Fry's. BIG BUT, the OD purchase MUST be made by end of business TODAY - Saturday!! The rebate term date is 7/31/04

OD matches straight across, no 110% or 115%. But they take the ad at face value, so if interested, and you have a Fry's in your area to PM with, try OD.

The rebate on the Sonata says purchase must be made by 7/31, so this deal is only good through today, not 8/3. Still some left in DFW.

5 more left at Frys in anaheim. just came back with one. no more daewoo lcds tho. the case is extremely nice, now i got find stuff to put in it 😀

I hide mine behind my desk, but the Sonata is considered a great case. I wish I had a quiet CPU fan because the Sonata fans are pretty quiet.
