Fry's coming to Chicago suburbs finally? Downers Grove

I heard today that they are starting the Fry's in Downer's Grove. It will be located on Finley road just south of Butterfield road in DG, the former site of the Auto Nation building. Can anybody there confirm?

If so, I can't wait to get in on some of those hot deals there! (and the customer service that is as bad as everywhere else nowadays 🙂

I wish they would make a Fry's in Portland, OR.

The closest one is only about 20 miles away I guess, but that can equal a long time if the highways are backed up.

Besides, it's in Wilsonville.. Who goes to Wilsonville? 😛

i hope so. that parking lot is an eyesore. But i've also heard that rumor for _years_. I dont live there anymore but it would be nice see a fry's when I visit my folks.

I *hate* that best buy. You ever seen that location during christmas? It can take an hour to get in or out of that lot. Whoever made the godawful decision to put all those big boxes next to each other with only one way of getting out should be shot.

They were SUPPOSED to build a Fry's right across from my place of business except they are wusses and dropped out on the agreement.

Now a damn Walmart is moving in and might just drive our superior store out of business if people don't brighten up about what they eat. I would like a Fry's just to see what they're all about.

sweet finaly a frys in the chicago land area, and its also in my suburb. Going to give Micro Center a run for its money 🙁 but hopefully it will put BB to shame.
