Fry's Combo Deal -- $100 <B&M only>

nice.... i have to build 2 new computers for work. and this will fit the job. i guess i should pick up power supplies and ram from newegg then.

EDIT: hmm... i wonder if these CPUs are OEMs or retail boxes (with fans).
 
Nice combo. I have the Antec 300 case and continue to be impressed. Tons of air flow through the case, so I never worry about overheating of components.
 
I don't have the money right now... but this is too good to pass up. Looks like Fry's will be putting on the pressure this holiday season.

The old Earthwatts 500 was made by Seasonic, the new ones are not. Has anyone seen any feedback on the newer ones?

According to JonnyGuru, if the EA650 is any indication, the Delta units are better than the Seasonic units!

I've heard a lot of people complaining about the move to Delta, wondering if perhaps Antec was somehow doing them wrong again, perhaps going back to the time when Antec units used to cut some corners. Well, wonder no more - if the EA650 is any indication at all, Antec has in fact improved their offerings again.

I don't think so, it's just a warning on how installing the CPU incorrectly will damage the components and make them un-returnable.....

I called my local Fry's and they said no restocking fee on motherboards. But if you look in the picture, there's a brighter yellow "15% restocking fee" label right next to the warning label you're talking about.

Huh, you're right. That's weird, my Fry's doesn't have those stickers. At least the motherboard I bought didn't.

It's kinda a moot point to put those stickers on though, even if you return the motherboard unopened, they still tear open the package to check if you've replaced it with anything. Then.... slap a BX sticker on it.

i picked the two bundles up at the San Jose/Brokaw location. i'm guessing they have alot of people returning messed up boards or something. OR they are trying to make sales on the cpu installation for $10. 🙂
