Just returned from Frys they have inventory in hands.
Was shown a sealed retail box and the following statement was made....
"Before months end they will be on the shelf."
They kind of laughed and sent me on my way.
It seemed they had them being stored in the front cage with all the other cpu's, ram, etc.
Edit: That makes me think perhaps they goofed and went ahead and opened a bigger box that they were not supposed to.
Or perhaps they are going to be available very soon?
Edit: Forgot to mention as I in my head figured it was just a given. But yes it was Bulldozer I am referring to.

I would assume Bulldozer since that has been the hot topic over the past few months.

You are correct. Again sorry I forgot to mention that was just excited I guess and forgot to mention the most important detail.
 
What the hell else would it be? 😛

Bulldozer is in the hands of retailers and will be available for us plebs to buy in the next week or so. 😀

I figured but people were still seeming as if they had no idea what it could possible be? Still should have just stated the obvious for those whom did not know.

They also showed me a real slick looking aluminum box and said it will come in that? Me thinks an individual had perhaps done a little illegal unboxing? Maybe I will go back up and offer to suck on a certain part of their body in exchange for a box of my own?

As for price they did not seem to know, but they could have been lying.
Seems stupid for them to show me the product but then lie about not knowing a price though.
FX-8150 was the specific model I saw/held. I asked about other models, said they have the entire lineup ready to sell when its time.
They had an entire stack of them I can only assume it was not all the same chip.
 
I have contact with someone at Microcenter too.
Have to go take some test's @ 6 if I can get over to MC before they close at 9 I will do.
They have been much more likely to hand over info there than at Frys so maybe I can get more.
On a few occasions they have sold me video cards up to a week before the actual release date so maybe...

As for pricing? Who gives a crap? We know they'll all be less than $300. Are some of you going to have to scrimp and save a little harder to afford $200 vs. $250 for the next week to get the top-end SKU or something? Just freaking wait and in the meantime, post interesting, useful threads. 😛

Jesus was a carpenter and carpenters work near bulldozers. I take this to mean this is the second coming of Jesus.

This was just a Frys grunt that I spoke with. But I saw the item in a sealed box that added some hope in my mind. I mean if they have the item ready to sell wouldn't they want to get it in peoples hands asap?
