California tax applies 🙁

I was standing in the Fry's return line yesterday when I noticed the guy next to me was returning Fry's 256MB PC133 memory. I asked if I may examine the module and noted that there was a -6 at the end. I ordered two sticks and picked them up at the register. They also had -6 at the end.

Here are the chip markings:

SEITEC
PM72V28841CT-6
It is double-sided memory with 8 memory chips on each side and OEM 90 day warranty.

Does this mean it's 6 nanosecond SDRAM? Please let me know.

I'm currently running at PC150 CAS2, playing a few rounds of UT flawlessly.

My motherboard is an Epox 8KTA3+ (KT133a chipset) with an AMD Tbird 1300 @ 1482 Mhz. I have tested these memory modules on my Intel Celeron II system (VIA Apollo Pro 133a chipset). It's running UT fine.

I have my computer running stable with this running overclocked at PC150 CAS2. I think I'll go grab some more.

damn that is sweet! I've bought thousands of dollars worth of RAM for myself & clients through the years - all GENERIC! I've only had a problem once or twice, with a quick exchange everything has worked flawlessly. FRY's RULES! 😀
 
damnit, not only did i pay $70 for my pc133 at frys a few weeks ago, and that crucial is down to that price too, now i learn they are using 6ns chips instead of the 7.5 i got ergh...

i've got the last piece, but mine is -75 i'm running @150 cas 3. not tested cas 2 yet, but i doubt so, i'll return it tomm. 🙁
