Checked a couple of posts on AnandTech MB forums and from reading other peoples comments, it seems like a pretty stable board.

By the way $289 price is for portland frys
 
I read the reviews and it sounds like this board is to be discontinued really soon. The latest shuttle board is supposed to be pretty decent. Wish this was bundled with the Epox 8kHa+.
