If you typed that in correctly it says week 21 of this year? I didn't know they produced these so early. I dont have the website on me that identifies the chip for you but I'm sure someone has it (the one where you type in the whole code, it spits back to you the info). I've never seen that stepping either. But, if it's really week 21, then you likely got an unlocked one, congrats Has anyone else gotten unlocked (or locked for that matter, either way) processors from this deal? Was wondering if I should get in on it.

what MOBO are people using? I just got a axdc 2000DUT3C thorton and can not get the thing to post with my l7s7a2 mobo. I even flashed the bios to the most recent. My 1700+ will run at 2.0ghz no problem, but when I put the thorton in, even on autodetect with no modifications it powers up then shuts down right away. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

probably locked, but you can still oc it by upping the fsb. just cause its multiplier locked doesnt mean you cant oc it. and the newer ones that are locked, currently cant be unlocked. now there all locked like intels

I bought this board and CPU. Works great. Except when the system powers down, the ethernet link light on my router stays on. None of my other computers do that. It only turns off when I unplug the power cable from the computer case. Are you guys seeing the same symptom? Is it suppose to be this way?

The one problem with Fry's and ECS boards is the failure/return rate. It's a lot easier to return if they are local

Well, according to the ad, this deal was from 12/26 to 12/29 so it currently isn't running anymore. Maybe it will pop up again in the future though and maybe it will be cheaper too.
