Frys ad: 300GB SATA $99 No rebates

SOB :| I bought a PATA drive not two weeks ago for the same price.
Then again it had some rebates on top of it too...

$.33/gb is not a deal.

Perhaps not for IDE but it's pretty good for SATA. Then again, it's not even bad for IDE. Not a steal but not bad.

If you have a better deal at the moment for something similar, please say so. Otherwise a lifer like yourself should know that was a crap post and you know those rules...

I think .33/GB without a rebate or 3 to chase is better than .25/GB with a bunch of hoops to jump through....

Nice deal.

I pricematched this at Staples although they had to order it via the web since they do not carry it in store. You can save even more if you have a Staples coupon or sign up for a Staples Rewards card.

They are cheap for a reason

I got the pricematch at Staples and saved $6 barely worthy knowing the price of Gas
do not use a coupon when pricematching, it will only reduce the amount of 110% of the difference between Fry's and Staples

For anyone that bought this at Fry's or is going to buy it TODAY, you can get a $50 Rebate from Seagate. Promo Code #06-44746

$50 MIR

Rebate edns TODAY

I doubt it. This drive is a Maxtor.😉

Oops.

Too many HD deals going around. The MIR is good for the drive in the thread a few posts down. And the info for MIR is there also...

0 for 2, reposting and in the wrong thread 😕 😀

I personally never had problems with Maxtor drives. But at work, we always have Western Digital drives crapping out on us. So to each his own...

Yeah, I was able to get in on the 300GB 16 MB cache Seagate for 99.99 and then use the 50.00 rebate that ends today. 49.99 + tax for the drive is awesome.

Thanks. I did not realized that the Seagate drives got a $50 rebate for it. The drive came yesterday from outpost.
