Gotta love the LA Times quick response time to get the new ads up.

Looks like the Seagate Barracuda 80 Gig 7200 Hard Drive for $89 after rebate is back. I got it on it the first time around and it's working well right now.

Now only if Fry's would realize that the "Grand Opening!" thrill of their City of Industry Store has lost its touch. It's open, and *everyone* knows it. We're all proud of your new baby, Fry's, but it's time to move on now.

Also interesting to note that Circuit City and Radio Shack wasted my time by solely advertising Cell Phone deals. Ack!

Nice. You can click on the image to get a larger display. The Smart Media/Compact Flash deal looks good 128Meg for $39.99 as does the RAM deal 256M for $44.95. I'm sure there are other deals that a more trained eye will detect.

Of course, I would never ever actually buy this from Fry's knowing full well that there is a 99% chance that the merchandise is either returned, refurbished, partially functional, nonfunctional or my favourite manufacturers QA grade B through Z. It is a perfectly good source for price matching provided you want the item bad enough.

Great post. This is definitely bookmark time. You can find every ad in LA Times right there online. Can't believe it took them this long to do this.
