Fry's A64 deal or Mwave combo?

I'm stuck with a 6800 NU. I plan on upgrading it in 18 months or so, meaning I'll have to replace my mobo at that time. So now I don't know if I should spend $170 on an A64 2800 + ECS mobo deal... or spend $250 for an S939 3000 with either an MSI K8T Neo2-F or Epox 9NDA3J and possibly OC some.

I've had my AXP1800 for 2 1/2 years, so I can keep a processor for awhile. Aargh. If AGP wasn't being phased out this would be so much easier.

*EDIT* will prices go down somewhat after Christmas? ie, a sale, or just post-holiday price drop? They don't seem to have gone up, but I haven't been paying too much attention.

...AGP isn't being phased out...not for the next two years at least. I just built a new comp off MSI K8N Neo2 Plat and a 6800GT. Your 6800NU is fine, why not just upgrade the mobo and CPU?

I wouldn't touch an ECS mobo, so out of the two take the S939 with the Epox. If PCIe, by some event, becomes an absolute necessity before your next CPU upgrade, you can do a board swap. This will likely be easier to go about with S939. I don't foresee that happening within a couple of years, though; not to the extent where cards cannot be found on AGP that enable at least some playability of games.
