No Fry's in Ohio. That's the reason I recently moved out of OH to So. Cal. Now my problem in life is I cannot watch too many OSU games on TV. But I was lucky enough to see them stepping all over MeatChicken last Sat. Go Bucks!

The San Jose Mercury News has it also listed for 38.99 with a 35.00 rebate. I bought one on the way to work and it was rung up as 35.00 with the 35.00 rebate. FAR! Just the 3.00 or so in taxes. Alameda county is 8.75% tax.

The chips are Elixar.

Man, I just bought a stick. This has got to be the cheapest, no name brand memory I have EVER bought. I hope this stuff works.

Nanya Elixir DIMMs are pretty good for cheap memory. I got Mosel Vitelic chips on my DIMM. Those also work pretty well. It's CL2.5 so it's not that bad.

Yeah, it seems the Fry's in the SF Bay Area are ringing this up differently. I bought one at the Brokaw Fry's for $35.00. 20 minutes later, I drove and bought one at the Sunnyvale Fry's, it rang up $38.99. Both were the same SKU and brand.

Yup, same happened to me at Campbell, CA - just 2.89 tax to pay - also, it's Patriot RAM.

I got two sticks, worked fine in the P4 I tested it in at work 😉

Apparently they have Kingston for $43 too.....

<From Ohio too. I wish they had a lot more 'technology' related stores. At least they have a lotta good grocery stores tho 😉
