bump becaise it's still valid until today.

I got the PNY 512Mb PC2700 for $24.99 AR, but it doesnt seem to work. When I put it alone, i hear 3 beeps and it doesnt post. What does this mean ? When I put it with my current 512Mb RAM, it only recognizes 512Mb RAM. CLearly. this stick is bad, right ? So is it better to go back to Fry's or to RAM it through PNY ??

Definitely go through PNY, you're guarunteed to get a working stick in return.

Besides, if you return it to Fry's they'll end up selling it to the next guy. 😉
