Does anyone has experience with Hitachi HDD?

I live in WA and Firday Seattle Times Fry's add showes this deal.

Hitachi
160GB, 8MB Buffer, Ultra DMA/100 HardDrive.
#3885187, Limit 1 per customre.

$134.99 - $60 (MIR) -$5 (MIR) = $69.99 + Tax.

Just realized that this is not DMA/133.

doesn't that just mean it can't go past 100mb/s? i dont think this drive can go that fast.

Does anyone know of a website that has Seattle Times ads or ads from the Seattle Fry's? I live down south so I don't have access to the Times very often, and they don't run ads elsewhere. So I have to depend on people in this forum to post the good deals. Thank you all for doing that!

FYI for those that don't live near a Fry's, a similar deal is also available from Outpost.com. If you look in the HDD section, the drive shows up as $145 with a $65 rebate ($80). If you go to the product page, though, the rebate doesn't show up.

There's a $140 rebate on the 250GB drive too, making it $160.

Shipping is outrageous at Outpost. $8.74 for ground? It's only 9.57 for 2nd day.

No current 7200rpm EIDE drive can get anywhere close. DMA/133 is good marketing for Maxtor though. We just witnessed someone rethinking a purchase because this drive wasn't DMA/133.

I still have a bad taste in my mouth from my 20gb and 40gb IBM deathstar crapping out after the warranty.

I feel the same about 4 western digitals. 3 of them died a month after the warranty expired, the other one a year before so I was able to RMA it.

Tempting. What should I do?

1) Shell out $155 at Outpost.com and wait for $65 rebate, or
2) Buy the SATA version at NewEgg for $104 shipped
