Frustration with my DFI NF4 - Ultra D

Arrgh.

Before I begin, I know that overclocking is not an exact science, but I had an Asus A8V-E deluxe mobo and I could push my Opteron 144 to 2.7Ghz, but the only drawback with that board is that you have to hammer the re-start button 2-3 times to get the system to post.
So I read reviews about the DFI and was told by numerous people that this was the board to buy.
But I can't even get the system past 2.2Ghz!
Is there something I am doing wrong, I do have the DFI overclockers guide, and followed it throughly.
Is the board picky with memory?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you using Corsair memory? It seems that the DFI boards do not work well with corsair memories. Also, depending on the chips (Samsung vs Infineon vs Micron) that the memory use, you need different settings for things like DRAM Drive Strength, etc. in the BIOS. Also, have you tried to switch your memory modules between the yellow and orange slots? For some people, it makes a difference.
