I'm really, really tired of the idiots on Newegg and this forum who buy a motherboard, hook it up, get an error, and then automatically think it's the manufacturers fault and jump on Newegg and give the mobo a one-star rating because of their OWN STUPIDITY. It just makes Asus and Gigabyte and MSI look like trash because of technically illiterate retards who aren't smart enough to do a little of their own troubleshooting and pinpoint the problem for an simple fix, rather than instinctively blaming someone else. Invariably, whenever you go on Newegg to read about a new mobo, the reviews are always tainted by about ten morons who give the board one star because they stuffed the RAM in the wrong way.

I've seen this happen enough to be seriously skeptical of anyone who claims they've received a mobo "DOA", in fact 90% is probably USER ERROR, and 10% MANUFACTURER ERROR.

GET A FUCKING CLUE YOU IDIOTS!!!

People do a lot more stupid things than give unwarranted 1-star reviews, it's really not worth getting worked up about ...

Pro tip: don't read 1-star reviews.
 
Some people post reviews at Newegg on products they haven't even used.

I been in the process of picking parts for a i5 2400 build and the mobo selection has been hard for me this go round. On the NE reviews most of the H61 and H67 mobos are getting less than 50% favorable. Now NE posters are not the brightest bunch at times but usually you can detect a trend but these H61 and H67 reviews are just all over the spectrum of what the problems are. To make things worse its not easy to find legit professional reviews of H61 and H67 mobos. They are far and in few between it seems. I know i been scouring the Net. Plenty of Z68 reviews because many people are more interested in them. So I can definitely relate to the OP's frustration but to come onto AT and call people here 'idiots' is un called for IMO and simply not nice.

Generally speaking people here at AT are much more knowlegeable about things and many who come here looking for info and asking questions are certainly smarter by doing so.
 
Yeah ur probably right skott but I get hot-headed and then I just have to vent my anger! Didn't mean to offend anyone
