Yup, lots and lots of insulation. We used to have a well (that I got to plumb) and you want to wrap everything very well. Little hard to do that with the actual line down to the water table though, but above ground should be well insulated. Everything is insulated except the wellhead itself, didn't think that would freeze. At least the pipes to the house don't freeze, I get about 2 minutes of water, until the pressure tank runs out 🙁
