Frozen Pizza Thread

I just picked up a frozen pizza. Looked at DiGorino, but picked up the grocery store generic and DAMN it rocks! (I assume that it's probably made by Digorno at the Digorno factory during 3rd shift or something).

My point... I'm eating the cheap "Food Lion Self Rising Pizza" and very happy. I suggest you do the same 🙂

When I'm in a hurry... Celeste Pizza
When I acutally got time ... Those huge pies from Costco. Just split it in 1/4ths and eat parts at a time.

Totinos Party Pizza has this strange taste that I just sometimes must have.

I've been buying Tombstone for a while now. They're pretty good but I'm getting tired of them. Can't be bothered to pay more for a better pizza though.

i got a bunch of red baron's from vons the other day.... it was like 4 for 10 bucks or something... i think i got 8.... not bad, no complaints for a 3 dollar pizza

i got mine for $2 each. 🙂

DiGiorno and Tombstone are both owned by Kraft. It would be interesting to try the Food Lion pizza, but I'm boycotting their stores. 🙁

i always bring crappy stuff to superbowl parties - at least, stuff i like but stuff nobody else likes.

this year i paid $8 for a huge pizza from costco with an assload of toppigns - sausage/pepperoni/onion/green pepper/olives/more stuff.

it was the most popular thing there, even better than the buffalo wings. if you have a costco nearby, try their pizza!

I picked up a pre-baked one last evening for $9.99. Also, the unbaked one for $8.00 or so is great if you don't intend to eat for a while. Costco is awesome!

Food Lion...WTF is that? :disgust:
Food Lion is a "no frills" grocery store in the south-east and mid-atlantic regions. Food Lion is famous for:

1) Taking '"expired" chicken, applying bar-b-que sauce on it and selling it as "ready to grill" chicken.

2) Taking "expired" seafood and wiping it with bleach to get rid of the "fishy" smell so they could keep it on the shelves for a few days longer.

3) Making workers punch out on the time clock and then going back out on the floor and working a few more hours for "free."

For these reasons, Food Lion will not see any of my money. 🙁

I saw that report on 20-20 or some show like that. The Food Lion in my town shut down soon after 😀

Has anyone made their own pizza with the fresh crusts that are available at the grocery store?

I would almost say that pizza made with that stuff is > delivery.
