They also say "results best if defrosted in refridgerator". Any of these sandwiches, burgers, etc all taste much better if you defrost in the fridge.

Microwave defrost is still "burnt on outside, frozen in the middle".

ALWAYS FOLLOW HEATING INSTRUCTIONS. KEEP FROZEN UNTIL READY TO USE. MAY BE REFRIGERATED OVERNIGHT TO THAW. DO NOT REFRIGERATE LONGER THAN 3 DAYS.

MICROWAVE HEATING INSTRUCTIONS
DIRECTIONS WERE DEVELOPED USING AN 1100-WATT MICROWAVE OVEN. OVENS VARY; HEAT TIMES MAY NEED TO BE ADJUSTED.

FROM FROZEN
1. REMOVE FROM WRAPPER. WRAP IN PAPER TOWEL
.2. MICROWAVE ON DEFROST (30% POWER) FOR 1 MINUTE 3O SECONDS.
3. TURN SANDWICH OVER; MICROWAVE ON HIGH FOR 50 SECONDS OR UNTIL SANDWICH IS HOT. (FOR MICROWAVE OVENS LOWER THAN 850 WATTS ADD 10-20 SECONDS, IF NEEDED.)
4. LET STAND IN MICROWAVE 1 MINUTE BEFORE SERVING.

FROM REFRIGERATED1. REMOVE FROM WRAPPER. WRAP IN PAPER TOWEL
.2. MICROWAVE ON HIGH FOR 50 SECONDS OR UNTIL SANDWICH IS HOT. (FOR MICROWAVE OVENS LOWER THAN 850 WATTS ADD 5-10 SECONDS, IF NEEDED.)
3. LET STAND IN MICROWAVE 1 MINUTE BEFORE SERVING.

CAUTION: PRODUCT WILL BE HOT. ENJOY!

as i said...defrost and then nuke works just fine. i am speaking only to these particular breakfast sandwiches as i dont microwave burgers or sandwiches other than these breakfast ones occasionally.

edit: sorry for caps, it's like that on their website.

I'm okay with frozen waffles and Pillsbury Toaster Strudel. Mostly I just do cereal for breakfast, not frozen stuff.

Make breakfast burritos and freeze seems to be a popular option. I'll check this out next time, gotta put the foodsaver to use.

If you have a foodsaver, you could probably get away with a week's worth of breakfast sandwiches in the fridge and not frozen. They'll retain moisture better that way if you microwave to reheat, or you could go ghetto sous vide fab and just reheat in a pot of hot water straight out of the tap.

lol never thought of that.

interesting thought, food saver to the fridge instead of food saver to the freezer.

I keep breakfast sausage links in the fridge for the week from sunday breakfast. They last just fine and don't even need to be heated. For a quick grab and go breakfast I roll a couple of those in cheese and tortilla and munch cold. Or toss into microwave for 20 seconds.

Yeah, I'll keep most leftovers for a week, but if we're talking assembled sandwiches he's going to have some dry eggs and hard croissants unless he vac's 'em up.

For me, I really don't like flour tortillas, and I only like corn if there's time to toast them a little. So I'd rather have my breakfast on bread, or without any starch at all.

I'm not a huge fan of American breakfast. I grew up on the Italian way, which is basically a small glass of something - coffee, juice, whatever, and a small piece of something sweet. Not much for nutrition, but lunch was where the day's calories came from.

Must it be frozen? How about some porridge with fruit? Easy, cheap, and good for you.

I need something I can leave at work and can make at work, meaning I have access to a tea pot, microwave, and small toaster oven.

That said, tastes good is a requirement and I fucking hate porridge.

I do 2 fresh eggs, 2 costco low sodium bacon, 2 farmer john maple sausage link, 1 target hash brown patties, and 1 costco bagel. That stuff fills me up!

I've had the best luck with the Jimmy Dean stuff. My favorite though is probably the mini sausage biscuits, which heat in like a minute in my microwave. Great for when I am hauling ass out the door in the morning.
