Frost/Nixon

Spooner

Lifer
Definitely went into this movie thinking it had the potential to be a complete snoozefest but walked away pleasantly surprised

i think it was gripping from the get-go and even though you know the ending keeps you interested in seeing how the characters play out

Well it got good reviews and everyone I know who saw it said it's a great movie so I wouldn't be surprised that it was good.

boring.
i've already seen the pertinent clips of the real interview. mostly the rest is dancing around the question for 2 hours. big deal.

I thought it was good too. They probably could've cut 5-10 minutes out of the first half, but still a really good movie.

I just watched it and loved it as well. I wasn't too familar with the whole story of Nixon right after he resigned so this was a good recap of events (albeit probably not truly accurate due to making the storyline more dramatic for the theather/movies).

I thought the actor who played Frost (Michael Sheen) was just as good as Langella.

Interesting Anecdote: My friend works on the set of the TV show Numb3rs, and one of the guys he works with there did the audio work for the Original Frost Nixon interview.

I think this is the part where you mention some insider information to make this an 'interesting anecdote'

hahaha, i was thinking the same thing and even read the statement 2-3 times wondering where the anecdote was and ended up just being disappointed

Yeah I saw it in thearters and I thought it was great. I went in thinking that it was going to be boring, but I found it somewhat educational, funny, and entertaining.
