Buy it at BB and pm right away (110% PM) to shave some more off. I think BB has it for $49.99 (on sale ;) )

I played the demo on the 360 and I thought the game was horrid. The controls were poorly implemented, especially for vehicle driving. It was a beta, so take that however you will, but based on the demo I'd have a hard time playing this game if it were free.

most of the negative reviews have been for the console version. no idea on the pc version cuz I can't find any reviews.

the fact that they are having a massive sale reduction in price this soon doesn't bode well. Most COD4 special sale prices barely dip $10 below it's $50 msrp.

i was in on the pc beta since the very early stages and gave them a lot of slack since they were the guys that made dc for 1942 and also the first, initial release of bf2 under dice/ea. all i can say is i wasn't too happy w/ it @ v.3.x or so. and i have been waiting for this game for ~2yrs....

i may go rent the 360 version but i doubt i will buy the pc version

CoD4 had similar reductions at about the same time after launch. These are $5 cheaper though.

Thanks for posting this. I had gotten it last week at BB, and used this to get the 110% price match to CC Sunday....
