Frontline: Cell Tower Deaths

First Amazon Distribution Centers, not cell towers. We need to make every job one which you sit at a desk for 8 hours.

I don't think this is comparable to an Amazon warehouse job. These guys climb towers. This used to be a decent job several years ago.
Please don't catch Spidey syndrome.

So, basically, people get negligent for money.

Call me when something new in human history comes out of this.

Higher costs = higher prices. You can't have your cake and eat it too. The world is obsessed with penny pinching (consumers and producers alike) and these are some of the repercussions.

That's a very powerful report. People are dying and OSHA can't even fine the companies who contract this work. There is no accountability by the big carriers who are contracting this work out and the people who do the actual work are getting screwed... to death.

I laughed when I read the title. Don't worry liberal ladies, some government agency or union will come along and protect these people, and make sure they make much more than the company can afford. Then the companies will go out of business and unemployment will go up. It's the new american way, don't you know.

Yes, i'm sure AT&T and Verizon will 'go out of business' if they started paying these guys more than $10 an hour and actually mandated better safety equipment/procedures/training.

Conservatives.txt

You are the reason why this country is fucked and going to get even more fucked in the future.

Conservatives pretty much long for the days when there were no safety regulations and little children were allowed to work long hours with dangerous equipment, losing life and limb.
