Frontal USB Ports

Sorry for posting this in off topic but i need a fast response...

On my case i have 2 frontal USB ports and i want to hook them up to be able to use them. When i built my computer a year ago my case came with a cable for 2 frontal usb ports but i never installed them because something is confusing...

on this tutorial http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/90 and in my motherboard manual it tells me the frontal USB port cables are labled +5V, D+, D - and GND while the cables that actually came with my case read: -, +, port-. and port+

I know where to plug them into on my mobo but im just confused on which pin goes into where because they are labled differently.

Thanks

does anyone think

D+ = port+
D- = port-
+5V = +
GND = -

... Just want to get it right so i dont have to keep turning it on and off and testing...

It's possible....I'd try googling "port+" or something, see what it means.

A few things I noticed here that may help:

D- may be called: USB-, USBP-, D-, or just -. D+ may be called: USB+, USBP+, D+, or just +

From that I'd assume the + and - on the case are the D+ and D- on the mobo, which leaves the others for the +5 and GND (port+ and port-). There's also a color coding table, perhaps your case goes by the standard colors for the USB wiring?
