Front Speakers - $500

Tell me what you would buy. I have an older Yamaha 5.1 receiver/amp, I think it is 100 watts a channel (maybe 80?). Right now I have some Pioneer two ways in the front and back (6.5" woofer up front, 5.25 in back).

I'd like to move the front speakers to the back, the back speakers to my computer to replace the fronts from my Logitech Z5500 system, and have new front speakers for home theater.

I'm just tossing this idea round, not sure if I'll pull the trigger or not. I want to see what options are out there, cheaper is better, but I want an upgrade I'll notice. So I'm ok with spending more to get more, but $500 is probably about the upper limit (unless of course more money gets me an out of this world deal). This will be used for a bit of everything you'd do on a home theater system, music, movies, TV, and console gaming... and maybe one day when the budget allows, a nice HTPC.

So, if you were me, what would you buy and why? Thanks!

do you have a sub or have the room for a sub? If you dont have one but have the room for one, you should get one. Also, are you using a center channel? Or just 2 front and 2 rears?

I have this center channel speaker. I have this Polk 12" subwoofer.

The center channel sounds great, though I think I have to replace it after using it at a wedding and some kids poking the tweeter out. 🙁

The sub on the other hand, I like it but don't love it. I kind of expected the higher power, better name brand audio, larger woofer to blow my Z5500 system out of the water, and it seems to be the opposite. So I'm not sold on the subwooer, I can take it or leave it... I'll probably want to use it since I'll never sell it for what I bought it for. But I'm certainly not married to it, either.

I like the sound of the Polk Monitor 70's that i using right now. Being fed 120w a channel by a HK amp. Im unsure if they are still in production though.
