hi. i'm new here, and never really used a forum before. i just recently built my computer and my front panel usb ports don't seem to be working. i hooked them up correctly. please help! i have a dfi250gb and a cooler master centurion 5 case. thanks

Re-check the wiring very carefully, most of the time that's the problem. Make sure the ports are enabled in the BIOS.

USB ports are on by default, check the mobo manual if you want to see where it is in the BIOS. You need to take out the mobo manual again and recheck the wires.

Hi, Some BIOS's have a function that can turn off the unused USB ports (connectors). MSI is one. Look in the BIOS Setup to make sure more than 2 are on. Mine can be set to 2, 4 or 6 ports. Jim
