Hey folks. I finally got my new system up and running and I'm lovin it. Only problem I've run into so far that I haven't yet fixed is my front panel audio, namely the mic. I have an Asus A8V deluxe mb and a Rosewill TU-155 case.. I know it's a cheap case, but I had already spent over my limit on the rest of the system, and I'm extremely pleased with it for the price..
Anyway,
The pins on the mb are:
BLINE_OUT_L-
-Line out_L
-NC
BLINE_OUT_R-
-Line out_R
+5VA-
-MICPWR
AGND-
-MIC2
The case has the following pin connectors:
R-OUT
L-OUT
R-RET
L-RET
MIC-IN
MIC-POWER
GROUND
The audio is working just fine, it's the mic that isn't working properly. At first I thought it didn't work at all, but I kicked up a game of cs:s, set voice_loopback 1, and I could very, VERY faintly hear myself speak. I had to put the mic basically in my mouth, talk loudly, and listen carefully. I have the MIC-IN plugged into MIC2 and MIC-POWER to MICPWR, which seems the obvious configuration. I will try switching them later today if I don't receive any replies, but I wanted to ask here first since it isn't too urgent. As always, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
