I would have just plugged the grounds in but it says you can fry stuff if you plug the ground & VCC in incorrectly. The rest of the wires were no problem. Anyone have any experience with this?

Somebody has to know the answer to this. Is the VCC just another ground wire or what?

I think, but am not sure, that you can fry stuff if you plug the ground cable into the power, but not the other way round.

Think of it this way - if you have a peripheral that needs power - it has, say, 2 wires. One that will supply power to the periph, and one that is a ground to complete the circuit.
If you plug anything into the ground - no power will come out of it - not gonna hurt anything.
If you plug a cable into the power, then that is when you can damage [possibly] the periph. if it is the wrong way round.
What colour is the wire?
Usually, black is ground, colours hold voltage.
Also, Vcc might mean that it is a voltage cable.

How about this, does anyone know what the VCC pin is for on the AUD1 on the motherboard?
