hi

can anyone answer something for me. Is there a way to add a link from 1 page to another but when doing that, it brings you to a certain place on that page.

ie. linking a message board to a search section that is on the homepage.

the search is at the bottom of the homepage so I wanted to add a link that when you clicked on the message board page, it brings you right to the bottom of the homepage where the search is.

is that possible?

thanks for any help..

I dont use front page cause I have a thing about supporting the corporate giant. not to mention you need extensions in stalled on the server..
I prefer the traditional method so I cannot tell you how to do it with front page.
but if you can figure out how to go into text edit mode

Place this at the point you wanna end up at
and this at the link your link text here
I believe this should work for you. Its been along time since I have done this but it is basic html

FrontPage calls them "bookmarks", and when you edit the hyperlink properties and set the link to another page, you also get a list of all the available bookmark points on the destination page.

So on the page you want to link to, have FrontPage insert a bookmark at the appropriate point, then on the page with the link just choose that point from the list.
