My school's personal web service still uses front page extensions, meaning that it seems like i can only update through front page.
How do i get around this and just FTP in?



found a solution
i found a way, and it works in everything except vista (WTF i tried for 2 hours to figure this crap out). in IE, go to file->open, point to URL you want to work with, select open as web folder. enter in your login/pw and then bingo you have a web folder to put stuff in!
 
If they don't offer you an FTP server (you'd have to ask them what the details are), then there is nothing you can do. If Frontpage is the only thing they offer you, then that is the only thing you can use.

Yup sounds like WebDav.
