So you haven't ran a red light in 3 years? Let's see $10 fix it ticket every 3 years you can drive for 81 years and still cost you less than one $270 red light camera ticket. I am not feeling lucky.
What kind of idiot runs a red light ever? I've never run a red light, I have this unusual aversion to getting T-boned and sued along with this unusual ability to drive properly.

Heh. WTF is your beef with front license plates? Ricemobile looks fergly with a license plate up front? Maryland requires them, and I've never seen a Maryland-tagged vehicle without them. Apparently us east coast people are smart enough not to get our panties in a knot over somthing so damned trivial, while you California turds go "OMFG EVERYTHING IS SO EXPENSIVE" and "OMFG WHY IS THAT A LAW? I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO THAT!"

Get off your damned high horse, PUT THE FSCKING LICENSE PLATE ON and STFU

(Yet more proof there is no intelligent life in California. People that build million dollar homes in wildfire zones and cry when they burn down, politicians that give illegals drivers licenses, people that think they have a right to ignore law and not to have a front license plate)

EyeMWing i request that you retract your comments, most people in california have no problem with following laws and putting front plates on, it's just a few people that feel they can just pay the fine and be above the law instead of following the law and stopping for red lights instead of flying thru them.

What a way to generalize, a$$.

Deriving from your comment, people in Maryland aren't too smart either

I haven't had this plate for 3 years since I bought the car used. First ticket.

seriously. On lots of cars front plates are "tacked on" out of necessity. Take them off and they look better. This is from the factory, the way the manufacturer designed it @ssh@t. I didn't have mine for years until one day I got a ticket. I have it on but I read somewhere that some of the redlight cameras capture both the front a back plate. If that's the case I guess I'll just wait to see some idiots driving around without any plates

Don't worry, he plans on moving to Canada where people are smart. We can watch that country's collective IQ lower a few points that day...

Take the plate off the back
Using double-sided tape, stick it to your front bumper
Have someone verify that you have the front plate

Voila! All better 😉 😛
That won't work. front has no stickers on it, rear has reg stickers......

I never had it on my car since I bought it. I was at LAX, and this bored cop pulls me over for it, gives me a speech about how it's so important to have one after 9/11 for security. Yeah, financial security of the city and red light photo operators

Anyways, I really don't feel like going to DMV and standing in line for new plates, going to dealer to get front plate bracket, etc. What happens if I don't fix it? I would rather pay a fine than go through this nonsense for a car I will sell this year most likely.
No, now that they have given you a ticket aka have you by the short hairs, they can and will hold up your registration / license renewal if you do not comply.
To a cop, particularly CHP, nothing says "A$$hat" more than no front plates on a car, or so I've heard.....
Make an appointment via the web, I'll bet you're in and out in less than 20 minutes.

Hrmm...imma get a euro front plate to put on, looks better than a CA plate. (I know this is still illegal, but at least its a plate of some sort).

On a related note. I got a "fixit ticket" for not having my registration sticker on my car up to date. I forgot to get smogged apparently. So I got my car smog checked and am waiting for my sticker to come. So my question is, "When I get my sticker what do I do then? Pull a cop over somehow and have him inspect it? Go to DMV and wait 4 hours only to be told I'm in the wrong line and someone try to find one of their incompetent morons to sign off on my car? Go to court on the day it says and show them that my car is cool?" (Ok so it was many questions 😉 )
Here's a real easy way to get "Fix Its" signed off......
ready, Here it comes.......

Go to a CHP office. They're everywhere. They are open early and late.....
